Here's Why You Should Never, Ever Charge Your Phone on the Bed (Video)
by N.Morgan

Is it possible for a phone to catch fire while it is charging? And if so can, how to avoid it? How to stop your phone overheating? The very first smartphone appeared back in 1992 when IBM introduced the Simon Personal Communicator.
The device cost about $1,000, could only send emails and run simple apps, and weighed as much as a hammer! Gradually, the giant dinosaur smartphone evolved and turned into a sleek modern gadget that accompanies us even when we’re asleep!
Smartphones have taken over – getting rid of our alarm clocks, maps, computers, gaming consoles, cookbooks, and fitness instructors! Research has revealed that 53% of children/teens charge their phones or tablet either on their beds or under their pillows. This is can be extremely dangerous. The heat generated cannot dissipate and the charger will become hotter and hotter. The likely result is that the pillow/bed will catch fire.
