Survival School (Forest Schools) For Kindergarteners! (Video)
( N.Morgan ) This is such an awesome idea and program, I had to share it with you! A preschool, kindergarten that teaches children about the basics and not only teaches it, but shows them! Through some good old fashioned dirt time! These children are at just the right age to really take away a lot of useful information and survival skills, that may last the rest of their lifetimes! This is exactly the sort of education we should encourage our children to participate in. A testimony to these programs: I recently became acquainted with a forest preschool in our area, which was something I'd never heard of before. I thought that there may be readers who would be interested in learning about it, and could look in their areas for similar schools if they were interested. The mindset is to let the children play in nature, learn about animals and plants, and at the same time learn some survival skills like building fires and gardening.
