In Nevada, The Most Distinctive Cause Of Death Is The Police  Nevada’s most distinctive cause of death — though not its most frequent — isn’t a disease. It’s encounters with law enforcement , according to a new state-by-state report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Encounters with law enforcement in this case does not include executions. The study maps out how geography factors into the prevalence of rare killers. For 22 states, the total number of these types of deaths was under 100. The Silver State falls into that group, with deaths by so-called legal intervention at 82, a rate 2.8 times the national average, said Francis Boscoe of the New York State Cancer Registry and the lead researcher in the study. Researchers couldn’t identify a clear reason why death by legal intervention garnered the most distinction in Nevada as well as New Mexico and Oregon. More http://bit.ly/1ccQzqI 'via Blog this'

On May 1, State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby charged all six officers involved in the incident and said Gray’s arrest was illegal. Mosby faced intense criticism for the charges she filed against the officers: Officer Caeser B. Goodson, Jr. was charged with second-degree depraved heart murder, involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault, two counts of manslaughter by vehicle and misconduct in office . Officer William G. Porter was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault and misconduct in office. Lt. Brian W. Rice was charged with involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of misconduct in office and false imprisonment . More http://bit.ly/1Ajh5ut 'via Blog this'

Cops Who Flash Banged Infant Are Blaming The Baby  Nearly a year has passed since a Habersham County SWAT team stormed into the Phonesavanh residence, and very nearly killed their 19 month old child . The no knock raid was prompted by an anonymous tip which suggested there were drugs in the house. As the officers forced their way into the home, they lobbed a flash grenade which wound up landing in the crib where baby “bou-bou” was sleeping. As it erupted, the infant suffered severe burns and had to be taken to the hospital, and placed in a medically induced coma. To any sane person, the sheriff’s department would be responsible for the damage inflicted on this child. Not only were there no drugs in the house, but the suspect they were looking for was found elsewhere. And despite their claims that they had the house under surveillance for two days prior to the raid, somehow they had no idea that there were children who lived there. More http://bit.ly/1PysQE1 '...

Heartbreaking “Police Kill Dog” Story Is Breaking The Internet Too A tragic story of police showing up at the wrong house and blasting away another beloved pet was just passed on the Internet – across the world – like a torch. The embers are still glowing hot and are threatening to bring the whole damn thing down. So much so, that the officers involved had to scurry to cover up the action and ensuing lies. Even the Wyckoff, NJ department Facebook page disappeared and they slapped up a new one to escape public ire – but that one soon got over 100 one-star ratings with each reviewer describing what really happened. Will this be the last straw to bring accountability for police indiscriminately killing the canine family members of its citizenry? Will people finally become outraged and say enough is enough? Basic story : An officer claims his life was threatened by a dog coming out of a window after he went into the yard of the wrong house for a burglary call. The claim is t...

New Documentary Exposes The Negligence Of Taser International  After Nick Berardini saw the dash cam footage of Stanley Harlan’s death, he spent the next 6 years documenting the facts surrounding the case . What he didn’t realize at the time, was that his investigation would eventually lead him to Taser International.  Harlan was killed by the members of the Moberly police department in 2008, after he was stopped for drunk driving (or speeding depending on who you ask). The officers tased him for 31 seconds, which ended up killing him in front of his Missouri home. Berardini originally intended to make a documentary about Harlan’s tragic death, but it quickly turned into an exposé on the negligence of Taser International titled, Tom Swift and His Electric Rifle. Their marketing of this “less than lethal” weapon has convinced nearly every police department in America to adopt the taser, and it has since been praised for reducing suspect injuries . However, the taser...

Pittsburgh Cops Tased Man While He Was Praying For His Dead Son In ER: Lawsuit

Image
This is another case of cops on steroids and acting like over zealous brutes. When I saw this heartbreaking story on my local news, it again reminds us just how low law enforcement in this country has sunk. This man was clearly grieving and the police had no right to taze him or even disturb him in his last moments with his son.The police claim the man, Rev, Earl Baldwin, was prohibiting the young man from medical care, but is is vastly clear, that Mileek Grissom is already dead. Another note I’d like to add, the man who was tazed is a well known and liked pastor in the area.   Here’s what went down:   The suit accuses an officer of unlawfully using his Taser against Rev. Earl Baldwin Jr. on June 24, 2012. Baldwin said that at the time, he was in the emergency room of UPMC Mercy Hospital attempting to pray for his stepson, 23-year-old Mileek Grissom. Grissom was shot and killed that day while reportedly trying to break up a fight. “I needed to ...

Cop Asks Man For License, Shoots Him When He Goes to Get It

As the Police State grows in power and aggressiveness, we are faced with the challenge to survive an encounter with law enforcement. This new world of police violence and murder is now a rampant issue, which none of the authorities seem to want to deal with. This time, a 31 year old in South Carolina was stopped for a seat belt violation and ends up with police unloading on him, as he complies. So you can see, even compliance won’t save you from this hostile treatment. More With Disturbing Video  http://bit.ly/1t20scm

If Police Come To Your Door Without A Warrant, Shut Them Down Like This Guy (Video)

Image
( N.Morgan ) The one thing I cannot stress enough is to learn your rights as an American citizen. The 4th amendment is in place to protect us from this sort of tyrannical barging in of our homes and our personal lives. This is the way to handle unruly police officers trying to gain entry into your home. If police come to your door and you don’t need their help, you can simply decline to answer. They cannot come into your home without a search warrant. Even if the police have probable cause, they cannot come in your home without a search warrant. You might even be a suspect in a criminal investigation. In such a case you should remain silent — except to say “Officer, I can’t let you inside without a search warrant .” Following such an encounter, you should immediately contact a lawyer before speaking to police again.   More With Video Here

Cops Ran Over Cyclist Twice, Arrested Him As He Lay Dying (Video)

Image
( N.Morgan ) Police in Quebec are investigating a brutal case in which witnesses claim that police officers trying to stop a bicyclist accidentally ran over the man twice and then handcuffed the bicyclist as he lay dying on the pavement.  On Wednesday, 48-year-old Guy Blouin died from injuries he suffered after he was run over by a police cruiser. Witnesses say police went to pull Blouin over for bicycling down the wrong way on a one-way street. As they attempted to pull him over, they accidentally ran him over.     “He went under the wheels,” a witness told the Toronto Sun. Then the cruiser shifted into drive and accidentally ran over the man again. “For an entire 15 seconds, he was under the tire in a fetal position,” another witness told Radio-Canada . Witnesses say the man was lying on the ground spitting up blood and yelling “I’m hurt.” Rather than aid the man, police pinned him against the ground and told him he was under arrest even though he ha...

Molesters With Badges: He Was Like Just Unbuckle All Your Clothes And Put His Hands Down Inside My Pants (Video)

Image
( N.Morgan ) Apparently in Georgia, the police will pull you over to not just to violate your civil rights, but to violate you in another way entirely. The victims, told reporter Jodie Fleischer that their passengers were violated by police in very invasive searches. All of these inappropriate searches, (vagina searches, cavity searches) were done in full view, from the side of the road. Officers are supposed to pull drivers over for traffic violations , but a Channel 2 Action News investigation found traffic stops leading to a violation of another kind. Driver after driver told investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer officers searched inside their pants while they were stopped for minor traffic violations. In several cases, the invasive searches targeted passengers who were riding in the car. "He was like, 'Just unbuckle all your clothes,' and put his hands down inside my pants," said Terry Phillips. Forest Park police had pulled over Phillips' wife for a sus...

Police Officer Fired For ‘Scalping’ Detained Woman (Video)

Image
( N.Morgan ) A Warren police officer has been fired for scalping a detained woman, while she was in custody. Surveillance cameras caught the incident and the authorities say her actions were unnecessary. It seems a bit mild to say it was unnecessary. It was sadistic and cruel. One woman trying to de-feminize another, trying to break the woman's spirit. Charda Gregory of Detroit was taken into police custody back in November, accused of disorderly conduct, destroying property at a Warren hotel and assaulting a police officer. While she was processed she was placed in a restraining chair, was strapped in and a Warren police officer cut her hair with scissors. David Griem, Warren City Attorney, and two police administrators reviewed the video several times and unanimously agreed to terminate the police officer. Griem says the 10-year veteran officer was freelancing. "There is a policy about removing wigs, but, that doesn't cover scalping a person," says Griem. ...

Cops Beat Grounded Man, Slam His Face Into Pavement During Arrest (Video)

Image
( N.Morgan ) The police brutality in this country is growing into epidemic proportions. More and more police officers seem to have lost their true sense of duty and have turned against the people who pay their salaries. One day, someone will not tolerate their treatment and it may lead into something bigger. A disturbing video out of Phoenix, Arizona shows Mesa police beat a man whom they tackled to the ground with their fists, then an officer slams the man's face into raw pavement. Presumably, the officers were trying to cuff the suspect, but the video shows the man appeared to have his hands at his side, only moving them to guard his head from the officers' repeated blows. Troop Watcher contacted the police department and they said they're holding off on calling the incident "excessive force." They said the man tried to cash a stolen check, "barricaded himself in a vacant building, claimed to ha[ve] hostages, and a bomb."       Mo...

Woman Arrested For Small Amount Of Marijuana Dies In Jail After Guards Deny Her Prescription Medicine

Image
( N.Morgan ) A woman died in jail, from lack of medical care. The guards refused to giver her medication she needed. She was in jail for a small amount of marijuana. She was left to die, unattended, by sadistic, jail guards. This is a continual problem in the prison/jail system. When will enough be enough? Even if these people are in jail. they still have rights! I would also point out, she was a non-violent offender and shouldn't have been there anyway. Two sisters returning to Kansas from a trip to Colorado were pulled over on Monday for speeding. After being stopped, the Kansas police officer found a small amount of marijuana in the car. As will surely happen to many people in the near future, the sisters purchased marijuana legally in Colorado but made the mistake of bringing it across state lines. The officer arrested the sisters, named Brenda Sewell and Joy Biggs, and put them in jail. While in jail, Sewell was unable to take her medications. She had the pills in a da...

Cop Who Physically Assaulted 13-Yr-Old Soccer Ref Gets Slap On Wrist (Video)

Image
( N.Morgan ) Another genius who has managed to get into the blue uniform. Officer Keith Spear, assaulted a 13 year old, who was referring a soccer game. Officer Spear didn't like the way the child was reffing the game, so he twisted the boy's arm behind his back. What makes this even better, is the cop wasn't charged with assault, but harassment, which is just a misdemeanor.  I have to wonder, if one of us twisted a cop's arm behinds his back, for doing something we didn't like, what charges would we, as citizens, be facing? Yeah, I think we know the answer to that. A police officer accused of physically attacking a 13-year-old soccer referee pleaded guilty in court Thursday. Officer Keith Spears pleaded guilty to an amended charge of harassment, which is not considered a misdemeanor, but a violation. He was originally charged with harassment with physical contact. Spears has taken a lot of heat from the public after police say he lost his cool after a girl...

Cops’ Claim Man Was ‘Reaching Into His Vehicle’ For Gun, Video Shows AZ Cop Shot And Killed Man With Back Turned And Hands Up (Video)

Image
( N.Morgan ) Man was shot by police after surrendering to them.  The person who filmed the video, was shocked by how the police conducted themselves, in this pursuit and capture. When the police shot 40-year-old father Manuel Orosco Longoria, he had his hands up in the air and his back was turned to the police officers. After shooting and killing 40-year-old father Manuel Orosco Longoria, of Eloy, Arizona, police released a statement on the incident as follows :   "Officers and deputies attempted to use less lethal means to take him into custody including firing several bean bag rounds and Taser deployments. The suspect refused to obey the commands and suddenly reached back into the vehicle. A deputy felt the suspect was reaching for the gun he reportedly had, so he then fired two rounds." There's just one problem, video surfaced of the shooting and it Longoria had his hands above his head in surrender a second before the shooting, also it shows he made no move...
