Lindsey Graham: The Gov’t Should’ve Shot 61-Year-Old Gyrocopter Protester Should’ve Out Of The Sky
Last Wednesday, a 61-year-old postal worker named Dough Hughes flew a “flying bicycle” through restricted airspace and landed on the Capitol front lawn in protest for, of all things, campaign finance reform.
He was not armed, he just wanted to make a point. Someone must’ve let him do it, too because that airspace is, again, restricted and highly secured. The Capitol was, of course, subsequently put on lockdown. Hughes was arrested and the feds have charged him with one count of knowingly operating an aircraft not properly register and one count of violating national air defense space.
That, however, it not good enough for Lindsey Graham. Instead, the government should’ve apparently just blown Hughes out of the sky, no questions asked.
