Superquake Rocks Nepal Shock Footage! Massive 7.8 Magnitude, Hundreds Dead, Trapped, Injured 


More than 700 people are known to have died in a massive earthquake in Nepal,  and many more people are missing with fears some people are still trapped under rubble, officials say.

The 7.9 magnitude quake struck an area between the capital, Kathmandu, and the city of Pokhara, the US Geological Survey said.

Tremors were felt across the region, with further loss of life in India, Bangladesh and on Mount Everest.

The quake triggered an avalanche on Mount Everest, with some reports saying eight people had been killed .
